Firm Overview

We believe in being honest and ethical in all that we do.

Myers Law Firm was founded on a simple and straightforward philosophy: we believe in being honest and ethical in all that we do, expressing a positive attitude, and treating all people with respect.

Our current personal injury and family law practice traces its origin back to 1976 when Lee Myers and his father, the late Charles Truett Myers, formed a law partnership under the name Myers and Myers. The two attorneys practiced together until Charles died in February 1983.

Lee Myers later partnered with other lawyers, most recently with Rick Hulse under the partnership name Myers and Hulse. In 2006, Lee’s son Matthew Myers joined the firm; Lee and Matthew officially formed Myers Law Firm, PLLC on January 1, 2007.

In our work on behalf of clients, we draw on both of our litigation backgrounds as well as Lee Myers’ years of experience as a Certified Superior Court Mediator. We understand both the benefits and the pitfalls of litigation, and we help our clients evaluate various methods of dispute resolution and their likelihood of success in order to find the right solution for each individual case.

We also maintain membership in several respected professional organizations to ensure that we stay up to date on the latest developments in our practice areas. These include:

  • American Association for Justice
  • Mecklenburg Trial Lawyers Association
  • Mecklenburg County Bar Association (including its Family Law and Civil Litigation/Alternative Dispute Resolution sections)
  • North Carolina Bar Association
  • North Carolina Advocates for Justice

At Myers Law Firm, we understand that many of our clients need support during difficult times in their lives, and we are here to help. We differentiate ourselves from other firms through dedication, hard work, and personal attention to the needs of our clients. If you choose our firm to represent you, we will advocate aggressively on your behalf and use all our available resources to deliver the best results we can in your case.
