Firm Overview

Myers Law Firm, PLLC, dates its origin back to 1976, when Lee Myers and his father—the late Charles Truett Myers—formed their law partnership under the name Myers and Myers. Lee and his father practiced together until Charles’ death in February 1983.

Since that time, Lee Myers has partnered with other lawyers, most recently with Rick Hulse under the name Myers and Hulse. Matthew Myers, Lee’s son, joined the firm in 2006. On January 1, 2007, Lee and Matthew formed the Charlotte-based Myers Law Firm, PLLC.

As trial attorneys, we are experienced at handling cases in which people were injured or lost a loved one as a result of someone else’s negligence or wrongful actions. Whether we are dealing with an insurance company adjuster or an adverse attorney, we work hard to achieve the best outcome for our clients. We strive to provide the utmost level of support to our clients as they work to recover from physical, mental, emotional, or economic harm.

We offer free consultations to all clients in injury related cases.

In addition to our litigation experience, we draw on Lee Myers’ years of experience as a Certified Superior Court Mediator. We understand both the benefits and the pitfalls of litigation, and help our clients evaluate the likelihood of success through various methods of resolving disputes.

We are both members of the American Association for Justice, the Mecklenburg Trial Lawyers Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association (including its Family Law and Civil Litigation/Alternative Dispute Resolution sections), the North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (including its Auto Torts and Professional Liability sections). Our membership in those organizations helps ensure that we are up to date on the latest developments in our areas of practice.
